The Rosina Distressed are the perfect fit for you. These jeans have been washed, sanded or maybe even sandblasted to get that worn-in look - before you even start wearing them!

 

Manufacturers have developed different processes which create the natural abrasions that raw denim acquires over time. This is artificial distressing, which can involve additional steps such as stone washing, acid washing, scraping, microsanding or sandblasting. 

 

Hand distressing is labour-intensive. Workers use sandpaper, sanding blocks, and electric tools to abrade the denim and create nicks and cuts.

 

These techniques all imply additional water consumption, chemicals and energy use and potentially hazardous conditions for workers.
