Collective bargaining

These Lucy Unionised jeans were made in factories where garment workers were able to unionise.

This type of collective unity helps workers negotiate for better wages and working conditions, giving them the opportunity to defend their rights as a group and ultimately make better deals with management.

But... not all unions are created equal.
Occasionally management take advantage of “union-busting” strategies (such as intimidating workers, threatening or abusing them.) - especially in countries where labour laws are not stringent. Or they set up ‘yellow unions’ that don’t actually advocate for workers - they are a pretence to appease Western clients who only work with factories where unions are standard.

The Lucy Unionised:

  • Ensures ethical working conditions
  • Gives workers better wages
  • Gives you a cleaner conscience
